Many of the decorations in the collection use the chromolithography process, which consists of printing and then applying by hand on each piece by craftsmen whose dexterity ensures perfect positioning on the shapes and relief of the pieces. This work was particularly demanding for the Renaissance-inspired Marignan decoration, whose labels and pediments are topped with shells and openwork baskets and surrounded by crosspieces reminiscent of the woodwork of rich homes.
