The capital city of France has been known for centuries for its cultural role on the international stage. Paris is one of the world’s leading fashion, cuisine, art, architecture and cultural centers and home to a rich artistic heritage.

In September 2011 Paris Design Week was born, opening a new chapter for best known Designers, Architects & Decorators. Ever since, designers from all over the world arrive in Paris for the annual trade show.

Throughout the years it has grown to several exhibition halls and installations in 200 participating sites. Maison et Objet is now one of the most prestigious Trade shows for design and architecture. If you then want to stay on top of the latest trends, meet the craftsmen and make relationships -  it’s definitely worth paying a visit!

Here are the most the most important INTERIOR DESIGN TRENDS FOR 2023 that Maison et Objet focused on:

NATURAL WORLD & SELF CARE

This year it has become more important than ever to focus on mindfulness and self care. Our homes are so essential to our well being as they reflect our personality so it’s worth arranging a space where you can find peace and relax. With this in mind Maison et Objet presented scented candles, home fragrances and bath products.

The natural world is a huge inspiration to designers, aiming to connect the outdoors with the indoor environment. Colour tones, materials and shapes are meant to bring the sense of calm to our lives.
