The Design Brief
To start the process your project coordinator will meet with you either in person or by video call to establish exactly what it is that you have in mind for your exclusive new product. A number of things need to be considered such as the design, materials and functionality. One of our design team may well be involved in this process.
Q. What design features are there within the environment with which the item(s) is to be used, and what colour scheme should it tie in with?
Q. Are there any specific materials to be used, either that are currently on show in the area that the product is to be used or materials that are specific to the client?
Q. Are there any special functionality requirements for the product?
All of the above are important to ensure that the client receives a product that is exactly what they are looking for in terms of design, beauty and functionality.

The Design Process
Once your project coordinator has established exactly the brief for your ‘One and Only’ product, they will pass this onto our design team. The design process may begin with a mood board showing design, details, colours and forms that need to be followed. 2D designs and 3D renderings may follow, using the latest design software, in order to give you a true feeling of what your dream design will look like. The design process may be used for a one off piece, or indeed we can take a design motif and follow the design through a number of products such as a complete tableware setting, coordinating china, crystal, silverware and table linen.

Sampling & Production
As soon as the client is happy with the proposed designs, we will then embark on the sampling process. We will discuss your piece with our expert and highly skilled craftsmen, discussing materials and production techniques in order to best achieve the finished result according to the clients wishes. At all times your project coordinator will keep you involved in the process, allowing you to have an input throughout the process, and allowing you to know that you are key to the production of a truly unique and beautiful product.
Once a sample has been approved, we will then carefully follow the entire production process to ensure a meticulous level of quality and design, it is this level of service that embodies the “One and Only” process, your dreams and your design, The White House is just helping you along the way.
