The building of the new Czechoslovakian embassy in Sweden at the turn of 1960s and 1970s was a unique opportunity to showcase Czech design. While the building itself, as well as its furnishings, were designed by architect Jan Bočan, Stanislav Libenský was commissioned to create the new drinkware collection, leading to the creation of the Stockholm collection in 1969.
