Inspired by Greek mythology, Poseidon’s Horse seems to emerge from the water with powerful force. This creature, half horse, half fish, exhibits tensed muscles, undulating fins and a long scaly tail. Poseidon’s Horse was often depicted in paintings or in antique pottery and mosaics drawing the chariot of the famous god. Traditionally carved in stone or marble as on the Trevi fountain, Poseidon’s Horse is now interpreted in satin-finished crystal, emblematic of Lalique, for a limited edition of 188 pieces.
