One of Stefanie Hering's trademarks is experimenting at the limits of the possibilities of materials and glazes - a procedure that is only possible in a manufactory and with many years of experience in working with porcelain. One result of this exploration is the Silent Iron Collection. Its defining element: a liquid, iridescent glaze that adheres differently to surfaces of biscuit and glazed porcelain and therefore develops completely different colour effects. The glaze is poured by hand, making each element of the collection an absolutely unique piece. All pieces are dishwasher- and microwave-safe and therefore also suitable for use in the catering trade.
