Gien’s "Les Oiseaux" dinnerware looks like a classical beauty from the period of Romanticism. The Fayencerie de Gien took its inspiration for this line from its rich archive of designs and relaunched this delightful motif in green.
The drawing of "Les Oiseaux" comes from a study of a bird dating back to 1887 and depicts a pair of birds resting on the branch of a fruit bush. Apart from plates and the like, the faience "Les Oiseaux" dinner service also includes a Japanese teapot as well as trays of practically unbreakable acryl. The retro-modern design has a mesmerizingly cheerful air and, thanks to the fineness of the drawing, exudes, great elegance.

Faience is a fine, porous earthenware which is tin-glazed and then fired repeatedly. This thousand-year-old art of porcelain manufacture has been used by Gien since 1821.
